About the teamThe Enterprise Account Executive team at Stripe is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth with our largest clients. As the primary point of contact, you'll work closely with executives and cross-functional leaders to understand their unique business needs and challenges, and position Stripe as the optimal solution to help them grow their business.
You'll leverage your expertise in payment processing, fintech, and enterprise sales to craft tailored solutions that address the complex requirements of our enterprise customers. Through consultative selling and strong relationship-building, you'll navigate the sales cycle, overcome objections, and secure high-value deals that cement Stripe's position as a trusted, strategic partner.
What you’ll doAs an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can execute on long-term sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements with product teams, build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close deals.

Requirements Sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, SaaS solution, or complex API first solutions with a track record of top performance Ability to recognize a customer's needs and figure out how to enhance current and future business Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
