Edelman is seeking a dynamic Account Executive (AE) to join our Global Executive Positioning team. In this key role, you’ll support some of the world’s most renowned brands across industries such as technology, food and beverage, retail, and more. Our team works with executive leadership on projects that enhance c-suite visibility and effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders. This position also helps support client engagements at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting, Climate Week and other major international gatherings.
We’re looking for someone who is a strong writer and creative thinker. The right candidate must be detailed, organized, and eager to learn and work with clients in a variety of fast-paced industries. This is a great opportunity to bring your relevant experience in public relations, media relations, crisis and/or issues management, social purpose, stakeholder engagement, and digital marketing to Edelman.Responsibilities:Support client accounts across industries such as technology, food and beverage, and retail. Support Edelman’s presence and client engagements at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting. Keep track of business and executive news of the day, considering how it impacts day-to-day client work. Help to manage a global team of executive positioning market leads, including sharing materials and resources and planning for and hosting monthly calls. Manage and update executive positing team resources and materials (toolkits, capes decks, conference POVs), including Teams channel, for the global Edelman network. Support the development and implementation of executive visibility programs, including narrative and platform development and media, conference and social engagement. Support new business efforts from across the network. Support the creation of executive positioning strategy and vision for the EP offer. Help facilitate strong relationships across the Edelman network. Host calls with teams across the Edelman network to explain executive positioning resources, best practices, processes, especially for client teams who are not familiar with executive positioning work. Basic Qualifications:An Account Executive must have at least one year of relevant experience in public relations and/or a related communications field such as journalism, advertising, marketing, or digital communications/marketing.A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred Qualifications:A solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used, along with solid research, writing and editing skills. Plan, execute, and oversee projects, managing timelines and resources to achieve objectives. Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining focus and quality. Maintain organized records and documentation to support project tracking and accountability. The ability to develop relationships with internal stakeholders and apply experience and initiative in advancing team goals and priorities. Prior agency or public relations experience is strongly preferred.$42,000 - $62,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.#LI-JLF
