Account Executive, Global Client Services
Job Description:

The Role

ICG is the institutional distribution arm of Fidelity’s Asset Management business with responsibility for managing the investment relationships with Global Fortune 500 and large public sector clients.  We are looking for an experienced financial services professional that has familiarity with investment products relevant to both the Defined Benefit and public market segments.  The key areas of responsibility include supporting our global relationship management and distribution team as they engage with clients, prospects and external consultants located around the world.  These key areas of focus will require investment and financial acumen, attention to detail, and follow through, while working across a demanding…but collaborative culture.

The Experience and Skills You Bring

Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or global experience a plus5+ years of product and client facing experience in the financial industry – Fidelity experience desirableFINRA Series 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within 90 days of hireFamiliarity with Defined Benefit and public sector investmentsAbility to partner across the organization to influence all levels of management and peers through personal interactions as well as crafting and delivering effective presentationsTalent for effectively communicating across cultures – both verbally and in writingDesire to learn and work across a diverse geographic footprintAbility to work on-site and remotely and accommodate minimal travel requirements

The Purpose and Value of Your Role

The primary goal of the Account Executive is to maintain an existing book of business and help drive AUM growth across our global distribution network.  In this role you will support an experienced US-based Sales and Relationship Management team as they engage with distribution partners  across the globe.  Core responsibilities include:

Implementing new global accountsHandling day-to-day service requests from across the globeCoordinating new business proposal responses and development of marketing collateralProviding oversight of sub-advisory agreements and pricing arrangementsBuilding relationships and establishing strategy sessions with US and Global Sales teamsManaging Sales opportunities through their lifecycle in Salesforce CRMPresenting updates on Sales activity, campaign efforts, and key areas of focus for internal audiencesDemonstrating the capabilities and resources of Fidelity to add new value for our clientsSharing industry trends and insight from peer organizations to help clients navigate sophisticated investment changesStaying advised of critical operational issues and customer concerns that impact the business partnerShare information and collaborate with colleagues across Fidelity to demonstrate standard methodologies and work on cross-company initiativesServe as a lead contact for various groups across Fidelity to help enhance our business relationships across the organization

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
