Position Responsibilities: ​

Responsible for the profitable management of a portfolio of clients, maintain and strengthen relationships with consultants/advisors, and work closely with them to ensure client happiness.

Meet annual financial, growth and profitability objectives for your assigned block of business. ​

Develop and grow existing client and consultant/advisor relationships by delivering superior service, effectively communicate Manulife’s value proposition and products/services and represent Manulife professionally in client-facing meetings.

Keep clients and consultants/advisors advised on changes and have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our products, services and workflows both internally and within the regional office environment.

Building and strengthening existing client and consultant/advisor relationships within the Prairies

Achieving annual sales, persistency, growth and profitability objectives

Required Qualifications:

Undergrad degree or diploma

Life licensed, or ability to attain within 6 months

Driver’s license and flexibility to travel

Shown success in a similar role at Manulife, with another Insurer, or the Group Benefits industry

Strong customer focus

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to negotiate and influence effectively throughout the organization

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Excellent mathematical skills

Ability to think strategically and present innovative solutions to clients and consultants/advisors

Outstanding project management skills and ability to balance multiple exciting priorities

Positive relationship building and interpersonal skills together with strong active listening skills

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
