The Account Executive at Assurant is responsible for driving the execution of new product development and delivery in collaboration with Telstra. This role is central to leading cross-functional teams within Assurant to ensure the successful realization of key strategic objectives for the Telstra account, across Consumer, Business and Enterprise segments.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
Lead and coordinate Assurant’s internal teams (technology, operations, finance, legal, and marketing) to ensure timely execution of all product development activities aligned with Telstra’s goals.
Product Development Execution: Oversee the entire product development process from concept to launch, ensuring milestones are met and that internal teams are executing against clearly defined deliverables.
Operational Readiness: Ensure operational teams are prepared for product roll-out, including customer service, fulfillment, and post-launch support, in coordination with Telstra’s internal teams.
Quality Control and Testing: Collaborate with Telstra and Assurant teams to facilitate product testing and validation processes, ensuring product quality standards and compliance requirements are met.
Account Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Propositions Director to ensure all product initiatives are aligned with Assurant and Telstra’s overarching strategic objectives. Translate these objectives into actionable product plans and timelines for the internal Assurant team.
Prioritization of Initiatives: Collaborate with Telstra’s Product Managers and Product Owners to prioritize key product developments and drive initiatives that will have the highest impact across Consumer, Business and Enterprise segments.
Does this sound like you?
3-7 years of experience in product management or product delivery, with a strong focus on execution and cross-functional team leadership.
Demonstrated experience working in telecommunications or technology sectors, with a proven track record of leading product development and delivery efforts across multiple teams.
Experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners
Proven ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, holding them accountable to project timelines and deliverables.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks in a collaborative and efficient manner.
Strong and proven verbal and written communication skills
Ability to tailor advice to different levels and different audiences
Proven ability building strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across a business
