Account Executive, SOHO

Our SOHO sales team sells to companies with less than 20 employees, and is a major part of the engine that fuels RingCentral’s market leading growth. SOHO AEs will work leads from start to finish - from qualification all the way to winning the deal. You will have a chance to sell cutting edge technology to small businesses, empowering our small business owners to collaborate, communicate, and grow. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter that has demonstrated an ability to exceed expectations in their current role, to perform thoughtful and thorough discovery, and to quickly build trust and confidence with prospective customers.

Qualifications:

Lead qualification/ Sales Development

Prospect discovery

Familiarity with and experience using a sales methodology

Familiarity with cloud based software as a service

Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp-up quickly

Ability to work in high-energy sales team environment as a great teammate

Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills

Quick and efficient with a computer

Participation in AE-readiness boot camps run by SBa managers

Responsibilities:

Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone, email and chat to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns.

Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.

Work opportunities through the sales process, running product demonstrations, discovering pain points, leveraging RingCentral to solve pain points, and ultimately close deals. 

Keep abreast of the industry and technologies to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers.

Follow the established RingCentral sales process and consistently use Salesforce.com to document prospect interaction, ensuring efficient lead and opportunity management.

Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to metrics and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect type.

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
