WHAT YOU'LL DO:Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agenciesApply the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to analyze customer needs and deliver customized advertising solutions that provide ROIHelp customers leverage our full array of marketing options including OTT video, search strategies (SEO/SEM), social media, digital display, email targeting and broadcast televisionIndependently prospect, secure appointments, perform needs analysis, develop solutions, present and close sales to develop new businessUse ratings data, qualitative information and market trends to negotiate program ratings and advertising ratesServe as a trusted advisor with clients, provide best-in-class customer service, grow accounts and gain additional business from referralsPerform client services including media availability negotiations, presentation preparation and execution, copywriting, and credit applicationsEffectively manage your sales funnel using CRM systems while meeting key performance indicators and activity levelsContribute to creative campaign development through client communication, concept creation and production assistanceBuild and maintain strong client relationships, which may include entertaining prospective and existing clientsWHAT YOU'LL NEED:BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experienceGenerally 2+ years of proven sales success preferredExperience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital execution preferredWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Highly self-motivated and goal focused approachCreative and innovative thinking abilitiesStrong influencing, selling and upselling skillsEffective teamwork and collaboration skillsStrong analysis and data interpretation capabilitiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding presentation abilities in various settingsStrong time management and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Working knowledge of Google Office and virtual conferencing platformsDriving required.
