ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Account Executive General Responsibilities: Incumbent is an Account Executive working under direct supervision of the Production Administrative Coordinator. This position requires effective communication skills and a solid understanding of the insurance industry. Must be capable of pursuing and closing sales in Property & Casualty needs. + Develop profitable relationships with existing and new customers. + Promote and adhere to up-sell, cross-sell, and round-out requirements toward all existing and prospective customers. + Develop renewal and new business strategy with appropriate staff. + Adhere to the calendar year sales and marketing plan mutually agreed to and monitored by Stockman Insurance. + Build and maintain positive relationships within Stockman Bank and Stockman Wealth Management for cross selling opportunities. + Attend all sales meetings, sales strategy sessions and company functions as required. + Participation in community events and organizations that generate new business for the agency and Stockman Bank + Maintain all applicable licenses and continuing education. Employees Supervised: None Education, Experience and Certification Requirements Note: Only minimum responsibilities are listed. Other responsibilities may be required as requested by management. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Montana State insurance license 2. Strong insurance background 3. Proven Business development experience / track record 4. Ability to work independently and as a team member. 5. Willingness to work in community projects. 6. Experienced in using Windows based applications. 7. Must have a current and valid driver’s license and be able to drive long distances at times. 8. Ability to travel - approximately 25% travel required. Specific Skill Requirements: 1.
