Summary:
The Sun Sentinel is seeking an Advertising Account Executive to join our team! Account Executives maximize revenue through a consultative sales approach with ability to represent solutions across the array of Tribune Publishing’s digital solutions.
This is a work from home opportunity, however you will need to reside locally in the South Florida area for sales calls, networking events and occasional in office meetings.
What you will do:
Develop and execute prospecting strategies to uncover new business opportunities
Develop and maintain a personal book of digital and print business, complete with monthly and quarterly revenue goals
Works independently to retain and upsell newly developed business through consistent campaign performance management
Stays abreast of emerging trends in digital products, technology, measurement and analytics
Weekly Reporting on account activity, pipeline revenue and major initiatives
Identify the current needs of client base; communicate the benefits of our audience-based marketing solutions as they relate to each need and then sell the appropriate campaign
Work through objections/concerns regarding costs, budgets and selling strategies
Research problems and provide solutions; requires an understanding of the Company’s digital products and as it relates to customers, prospects, and key trends
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Position requires high level of professional written and oral communication skills
Understand how to grow and maintain market share; ability to accurately develop forecasts and manage pipelines
Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable environment; in building customer-based revenue and in delivering customer solutions based on identified needs
Ability to effectively manage time as it relates to focus on sales related activities
Solid experience with SEO, SEM advertising sales and account management
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Travel:
Local travel expected within given territory to meet with clients and prospects
