Mark43 is looking to hire a communicative and driven Account Executive who is passionate about advancing law enforcement technologies and understands the benefits of enterprise SaaS solutions. In this role, you will work closely with various internal departments and connect with government agencies, leading to product demos that secure new contracts. Success in this role requires a solid grasp of how cloud-based SaaS products can transform government operations. You will promote our products, actively pursue leads, network to find potential clients, and manage multiple sales pursuits simultaneously.

As an Account Executive at Mark43, you'll excel in solution-based selling to government agencies, effectively pitch compelling value propositions, and nurture relationships with potential clients to continuously build a pipeline. As a problem solver and seeker of truth, you'll help prospects solve problems through honest presentations of our products' benefits. This role is perfect for you if you've proven yourself in inside sales and are ready for a more challenging field sales position.

 

What You’ll Do:

Attend trade shows and industry events in your area to prospect and network. Accurately document all sales activities in CRM tools. Drive mid-market sales by conducting product demonstrations, building relationships, and solving problems with integrity. Expand and grow your network to discover new leads and generate revenue. Guide clients through the entire sales process, including travel as necessary. This involves maintaining control over the process, understanding procurement steps, and consistently pushing for progress. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Mark43's value proposition, the competitive landscape, and customer needs to deliver compelling product pitches. Continuously seek ways to improve personal performance by evaluating processes, technology systems/tools, and personnel.

 

What You’ll Need:

Passion for supporting law enforcement, first responders, and other government agencies. Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, early-stage startup environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities. 4-5 years of experience in enterprise Public Sector SaaS sales, ideally including: 1 year in a sales development or cold calling role. 3 years in inside sales, with some experience in a traveling sales role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce). Demonstrated success in executing prospecting campaigns organized by marketing for your territory. Deep understanding of the value of cloud-based SaaS solutions. Proven track record of exceeding quotas, closing deals, and advancing within an organization. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams. A proactive and self-motivated attitude to drive sales and meet targets. A collaborative mindset to work well with various internal departments. Problem-solving skills to address client needs and present solutions. Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
