Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Travel required
Job Summary:
The Account Executive will represent Occupational Health in their assigned territory and will be responsible for prospecting and pursuing leads in order to set up new accounts, while also focusing on communication with current clients in order to retain their business. A strong emphasis is placed on networking and relationship building within the business community, as well as calls/visits to company prospects. May also be asked to develop and present proposals for services for the department. Also serves as a liaison between the client and management/billing to ensure continued market penetration and profitability.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, related fields of healthcare, marketing/sales, or communications.
• 2–3 year’s sales experience required, with a strong desire to “cold call” as needed. Previous hospital and/or applicable health care sales desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and public speaking, with excellent written communication skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with company representatives from administration, safety, HR and laborers.
• Ability to “soft sell” the Occupational Health brand with a high comfort level in networking and developing relationships with individuals within the business community.
• Organizational ability necessary to plan, execute and promote Occupational Health services and programs.
• Analytical skills and ability necessary to develop and implement various effective planning and sales strategies.
