Overview Are you an emerging insurance sales professional eager to advance your career and make a meaningful impact? Join our commercial lines team as an Account Executive, where you'll have the opportunity to hone your skills and contribute significantly to our business. In this role, you'll focus on converting inbound leads from our website into new business revenue, engaging with both new and existing clients in the insurance sector. You'll thrive in a supportive and collaborative team environment, working alongside colleagues to achieve shared goals and drive business success. How you'll make an impact Develop new business and manage client relationships by responding to inbound inquiries and following up with prospects who have expressed interest. Strategically plan and prioritize sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets. Facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships through effective communication and negotiation, both internally and externally. Be the eyes and ears of the leadership team to identify new market trends and develop profitable industry niches About you Ideally, 3 years of experience in the insurance industry. Required licenses for provincial jurisdictions, along with ongoing management of continuing education hours. A proven ability to attract and retain commercial clients. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. A commitment to continuous learning through educational opportunities and collaboration with colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products. Preferred Qualifications Insurance designations or progress towards such designations. Experience in client service and advocacy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively within a team to achieve shared goals. A solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative approaches. We are looking for candidates with the following qualities: Friendly and personable demeanor. High degree of initiative and agency. Experience in managing inbound leads and following up with prospects to convert interest into sales. Attention to detail. Experience in sales and closing opportunities; courses like Successful Sales Conversations or Objection Handling are a plus. Intermediate knowledge of commercial lines coverages, with the ability to answer basic questions and assist clients in completing the application process.
