We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction Risk Management Specialty team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This position will assist the Senior and Principal Account Executives in all aspects of client services including client contact, technical support and business development. The position will support a portfolio of Construction and Specialty clients. The caliber of the account would suit an individual committed to excellence in their work and with a passion for the industry. Ideally you will have 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
We will count on you to:
Support Senior and Principal Account Broker's with portfolio management.Assist with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs which accurately address client needsEstablishing, development and maintenance of long-term relationships with key decision makersAbility to Acquire and understand an awareness of the client’s business and insurance needs Identifying products which benefit the client and meet their needsTimely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording, certificates of currency and all other documentations.Liaising and negotiating with clients, underwriters and claims managers.Develop and maintain a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance and specialist services which the company offers to its clients.What you need to have:
Minimum 3 years’ general or financial lines insurance broking experienceTier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higherClear and effective communication skillsAbility to work autonomously within a multi skilled teamAbility to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.What makes you stand out:
