We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven software sales person to join the ClassLink Sales Team as the Account Executive specializing in Higher Eduation. In this role, you will be responsible for selling ClassLink’s award winning Single Sign On (SSO) and Identity Management (IDM) solutions to Colleges and Universities throughout the United States. This person will manage the entire sales process from prospect to close. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology in Education.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting and Lead Generations:
Identify and target potential college and university clients.Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
Schedule online and onsite meetings with key decision makers such as CIO’s, Provosts, and other leaders at Colleges and Universities.Confidently conduct in-depth demonstrations and presentations of ClassLink to key decision makers within colleges and universities.Clearly articulate the features and benefits of ClassLink’s software.Help develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations across the USAttend, and present at conferencesNegotiating and Closing:
Prepare and deliver RFP’sNegotiate contract terms and close sales agreementsMeet or exceed sales targets and quotasMarket Research
Become an Expert on ClassLink softwareStay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditionsProvide feedback to Product Development to help improve our software offerings.Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in Salesforce.Prepare weekly sales reports for management.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
