Account Executive (Engagement Platforms)

Key Account Executive sells Infobip products to new Infobip customers and generates net new business. The role identifies and generates new business opportunities and pursues leads which are provided against a focused target account list. 

 

In addition to the actual sales activities, Key Account Executive is usually one of the most experienced sales representatives, so it is expected of him/her to share his/her knowledge with the rest of the team members, mentor newly recruited sales team members, answer technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members.  

Main Responsibilities: 

Focuses on lead qualification and closure for successful sale 

Sells a subset of products or services directly or via partners to a customer’s base (provided target account list) in designated team/squad. 

Involves specialists when needed for particular aspects of overall sales (e.g., SE for demo) 

Develops solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.  

Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning while expanding touch points and footprint in key accounts.

Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.  

Negotiates pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. 

Coordinate with service delivery teams for deployment and ongoing delivery of our cutting-edge product suite

As required cross sells for existing accounts on complicated deals (e.g., renegotiation) 

As a Leading contributor individually and as a team member, provide direction and mentoring to others.  

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Telecom Sales with a proven and consistent, successful sales track record. Including 3 years of solution sales (in certain situations, SaaS sales experience is needed) 

Experience in the Telecom industry is required, specifically messaging experience and/or CPaaS highly desired.

Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. CXO level influencer. 

Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. 

Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent written/verbal communication skills who can develop strong relationships with internal and external parties.

Flexible self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Willing and able to travel and work in a global team of professionals.

Proficient with various technical tools such as: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), etc.

Infobip knowledge and/or knowledge of Infobip's competitors is a plus  

Additional Information

Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 annually (the salary of the selected candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, experience, education, skillset, and internal equity). This position is also eligible for commissions. If targets are met, variable compensation may be paid out quarterly (based on company discretion) in addition to earning an annual base salary.
