Account Executive - HVAC Service Sales
Description

Position PurposeYou will be developing new business by marketing and selling Scheduled Service Agreements to property managers and building owners. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:Manage and grow assigned territory and/or group of accounts consisting of building owners, end-users, and property managersDevelop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territoryCold calling on the phone and in-person at prospects locationEffectively perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentationsWork with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the saleFollow through on sold work to ensure satisfactory completion. Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitor progressAssist in resolving customer satisfaction issues and collections as neededAssist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordinglyUtilize sale software for sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense trackingParticipate in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars. Continue to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skillsKeeps current on market business and product trendsAdhere to all LONG safety standardsQualifications1+ years of sales-related work experienceModerate related technical and financial expertiseAbility to legally operate a motor vehicleUnderstanding of HVAC, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction proceduresAbility to interpret mechanical plans and specificationsStrong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with excellent customer service and computer skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree in engineering, business or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experienceAny credentials, including LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE, or PEPhysical RequirementsThis position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floorAbility to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds or elevated platforms as neededEnvironmentIndoor office and outdoor environmentGeneral construction sitesCustomer sitesHazardsInclement weather possibleVarious risks typical of construction sitesElevated surfaces including roofsExposure to chemicalsLONG Building Technologies Inc, is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets
