Work is normally performed in a remote environment with monthly onsite meetings in Somerville and broker events throughout the state of MA. The Account Executive’s portfolio will be fully insured customers.
The Account Executive is responsible for all aspects of account management while maintaining positive customer and broker relationships. The AE will work with Brokers and/or Consultants, as well as HR management at client sites. The AE should be capable of delivering annual renewals and working with leadership to negotiate rates and renewal options.
What you’ll do:
• Act as primary relationship manager for assigned CRC employer accounts and brokers to cultivate positive relationships
• Act as a customer advocate in providing assistance to resolve client’s issues
• Responsible for maintaining membership and account retention levels for an assigned CRC book of business
• Proactively assess client’s needs and develop solutions to exceed client expectations
• Develop annual account plans and recommends strategies for account growth and retention
• Work strategically with Director and UW on the book of business outlook; challenges and opportunities.
• Coordinate with account support teams and other internal departments as vital to resolve client issues
• Documents all client activities in CRM
• Ensure that rate renewal and contract addendum process is completed in a timely manner
• Coordinate all aspects of open enrollment, including participating in and staffing enrollment fairs as well as preparing and delivering presentations
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations; establish and maintain effective customer relationships – both internal as well as external.
• Visit the client two times a year, minimally.
• Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
• Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are a guiding principle.
• Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite any obstacles and setbacks that arise.
• May participate on assigned projects where account retention representation is needed
