Job Title: Account Management/Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service/Account Management Specialist who will be responsible for supporting our mid-west sales team and their customers. This role involves interacting with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on our products or services.

ResponsibilitiesInteract with customers to provide support and information on products or services.Collect and enter orders for products.Field customer questions and complaints, forwarding issues beyond knowledge to appropriate staff.Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.Maintain customer accounts.Provide timely communications to all internal departments and external customers.Manage and provide solutions to customer inquiries.Initiate and facilitate the customer complaint process.Process returns and issue credit in a timely manner.Collaborate with sales and purchasing to verify requirements are met.Manage order backlog to avoid stock outs.Track and manage customer forecasts.Update system with relevant information collected during customer service activities, including new customer data.Essential Skills2-3 years of customer service experience.Experience working for a packaging company, manufacturing company, or distribution company.Experience with an ERP system (e.g., Macola or similar).Strong Microsoft skills.Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in data entry and operation.Experience with payment processingPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
