Account Manager, Diagnostics

Develop relationships with end-users, key opinion leaders, market influencers, and distribution sales professionals in assigned geographical territory and conduct sales calls to all decision makers in applicable marketsSnapshot of Responsibilities: Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas and account “close” goals and provide customer feedback to improve OraSure products to best meet our market demandsProspect new customers within a prescribed territoryMarket/promote products within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales quota and account closure goals.Support and train new customers, assist with validations as requiredSupport and manage appropriate distribution partners to held drive demand for OraSure products with their end customersPrepare and present business reviews for all key customers as defined by your Sales ManagerFollow up with all new and existing customers to ensure training is completed, product is being utilized correctly, and seek opportunities to expand business in existing accountsProvide customer support as neededIntroduce new OraSure products/services when applicableWork cooperatively and synergistically with team members and across business unitsAnnual/daily revenue forecasting as required by Sales ManagerDaily utilization of SFDC to enter customer contact information, leads, and pipeline managementResponsibility for meeting sales objectives in the assigned territory, including prospecting, forecasting and closing businessEnsuring the success of distribution partners through educating, directing, and holding accountable those that carry OraSure products in the territoryProvide sales management with accurate forecasts, business plans and territory reportsGathering competitor intelligence, researching customer baseScheduling appointments and associated business travelMeet and exceed goals for demand generating KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), including customer meetings, phone calls, and other critical activitiesProduct demonstration and instruction in assigned territoryAttending trade shows and conferences, as directed by Sales DirectorPrompt follow-up to customer inquiries, by phone, email or written correspondenceUse of OraSure’s Customer Relationship Management SFDC) program on a daily basisFace to face and virtual client appointments, presentations to decision makers, in-service demonstration for staffProvide outstanding customer service to both new and existing customers.
