Job Summary

SUMMARY

LMR Naturals by IFF is one of the leading companies for Natural Ingredients for Perfumery and Flavors, providing perfumers and flavorists all over the world with pure and natural ingredients.
Created in 1983 in Grasse, the heartland of perfumery, LMR (Laboratoire Monique Remy) redefined standards in natural ingredients, by selecting only the best-in-class flowers, plants, spices, resins, and transforming them into beautiful essential oils, concretes and absolutes for perfumery and flavors. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEAD
You will join the dynamic international LMR sales team composed of 11 people. You will understand the uniqueness of our industry and familiarize yourself with the tasks of sales in a BtoB market. You will be asked to show initiative and autonomy.
Mission and key responsibilities of the Position
• Manage and develop the sales of LMR natural ingredients business in Greater Asia, by promoting our ingredients in B2B to manufacturers and end-users in the region. Key markets: fragrances, flavors, health & wellness.
• Set up commercial strategies, KPIs and action plans for regional distribution channels and direct accounts.
Managing sales
• Establishing and implementing business plan aiming to increase revenue, business, market share and profitability
• Sustaining high customer satisfaction and strengthening collaboration with existing customers
• Actively prospecting new customers
• Handling direct sales and indirect sales with distributors
• Preparing and monitoring sales budget
• Analyzing and providing sales forecasts
• Promoting IFF LMR Naturals Portfolio
• Acquiring expert knowledge on our products
• Presenting natural ingredients during meetings and industry events, participating in international business trips
• Supporting local distributors in their product knowledge with training and marketing materials
• Implementing sales & marketing strategies for each market to sustain the company vision
• Gathering market strategic information
• Initiating and driving projects with key accounts
• Coordinate regional and local actions regarding LMR new collections and products launches.
• As the natural expert for IFF Fragrances and Flavors sites across the region, you will be asked to support commercial and creative teams in their customers projects and participate in customers meetings.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business, economics or marketing
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in ingredients, fragrances and/or flavors industries
• Know-how in developing specific markets for ingredients
• Required skills: business oriented, negotiator-facilitator, proactive, knowledge of different cultures, excellent written and verbal communicator, rigor and organizational skills. Positive mindset, dynamic & charismatic.
• Being available for international traveling on a monthly basis
• A team player, able to work independently
• Chinese + English fluency speaking/writing, French is a plus.
• Mastering SAP is a plus
• Location: the job will be based at IFF office in Shanghai. A period of training in Grasse facility, France, will be required.
