Our business unit Medical Solutions provides high-quality products to acute care customers for a better, cost-effective and safer patient treatment. The Medical Solutions business is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative medical products.

We are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager for the North-East Netherlands Region. This is a field-based role and reports to the Reginal Sales Manager Benelux. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following.

The key objective of the role is to create and implement strategies to deliver excellent sales execution in the area of responsibility. You will be accountable for achievement of sales objectives within a dedicated and dynamic market.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Achieve promotion of products and activities in the area of responsibility of budget assigned for the product lines and product focusManagement of sales and negotiations in public and private healthcare institutions, quarterly & annual business review with focus customersPresentation of products to target customers in OR environment and intensive care and support the correct use of tools and productsParticipation in congresses, clinical workshopsLaunch of new products to the customers selected in line with the business objectivesImplementation of promotional action plans in your area of responsibilityCoordination of the major players in the market, Key Opinion Leader’s and administrative operatorsEffective use of a CRM system (SalesForce.com)Effective use of clinical literature referencesIdentification of business opportunities and follow-up on assigned projectsIdentification and planning of commercial solutions applicable to the area of responsibilitySupport of events in your territory

Qualifications and Experience

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertaintyAble to develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff membersThinking and acting entrepreneuriallyFluency in Dutch, advanced English skillsCommercial or clinical/nursing apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree in nursing/science/business administration/ medical engineeringPatient and customer centric approachAbility to think strategically and foster a culture for continuous improvementMedical devices industry experienceAt least two years’ experience in sales positionsGood IT skills (windows)Willingness to travel
