The Role:

An outstanding opportunity for an Account Manager has arisen to join our Network Sales team at Baxter . In this role you will work on developing professional sales relationships with potential and existing customers, ensuring sales and growth opportunities by implementing creative healthcare solutions.

Reporting to the Network Sales Manager, you will promote products to potential customers through promotional campaigns, Account Management plans, and collaboration with Account Managers and Sales Specialists for sales and profit growth.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement working 3 days a week on-site at our Toongabbie site and remotely 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Establish relationships and build rapport with external and internal customers through regular contact, promoting and selling Baxter products and services within your territory

Gather and inform internal collaborators on market and competitive dynamics to keep a competitive edge

Develop and coordinate new product presentations, samples for customer trials, and arrange appropriate in-servicing programs to meet customer requirements

Foster open communication among collaborators in the Baxter Business units, Customer Service, and the Healthcare Solutions Commercial Team via regular updates and monthly reports

Manage multiple customer projects, providing information and service promptly and professionally to ensure a competitive business edge is achieved

Attend relevant territory conferences and seminars to meet with customers and facilitate rapport and close working relationships with account managers and specialists

Maintain customer accounts and opportunity development in the CRM system to ensure maintenance of account progress

Collaborate with Business Units, Legal, and Healthcare solutions team in developing and managing agreements to enhance business opportunities for Baxter and improve customer dedication

Provide relevant data on products to customers and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner

Train appropriate medical staff and company employees on new products. Ensure customers, prospective customers, and staff are technically proficient through in-service presentations, one-on-one training, peer education, and supply of information

Prepare and present quarterly reviews for Channel Partners in consultation with the Commercial Team

Provide financial forecasts and position updates to relevant BU, understanding any gap to plan with reasons.

Key requirements:

Tertiary degree in Finance, Commerce, Science, Marketing or related fields

Upto 3 years Medical Sales/Commercial experience within Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries.

Strong collaboration and management skills.

Strong Commercial competence and skill in project management

Prior Healthcare/Nursing/Paramedical experience is good to have

Proficient user of Microsoft Office systems.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to communicate clinical, technical, and scientific information to surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel, including sales staff

Effective problem-solving and decision-making

Proven ability to collaborate and work well in a team.
