As an Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving service adoption, usage growth and market penetration in Korean public sector. The ideal candidate will possess both account management and technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan, acquire and develop new accounts, and consistently deliver on quarterly business goals in public sector customers – central government, local government, public corporation, national R&D institutes, etc.
Key job responsibilities
• 5+ years of direct sales or business development in Cloud, AI/ML, Software, SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
• Strong proven track records of cloud service sales engagement and activities in public sector customers
• Developing and cultivating experience of cloud related business opportunities in Korean public sector as an account executive
• Keen understanding of public sector customers and their echo-system such as budget process and public tender process
• Collaborate with multiple AWS function teams and Account Managers, etc. to understand business requirements and to prioritize and deliver data and reporting.
• Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
• Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
