We are looking for an Account Manager to join our APAC Gaming Advertising Solutions team, supporting the regional expansion of Discord’s advertising business.
This role will be based in Singapore, partnering closely with our Director of Gaming Sales, APAC to manage key client relationships and ensure campaign success across Southeast Asia and China-outbound gaming clients.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about helping game developers connect with global players through innovative, community-driven advertising experiences — the Discord way.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with an Account Executive and managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring successful campaign delivery. Oversee campaign performance, pacing, optimization, and reporting for gaming and entertainment partners across the GCR region. Deliver insightful, data-backed reporting (wrap reports, QBRs, optimization summaries) that tell the story of campaign performance and brand impact. Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, operations, and data science teams to align client objectives with product capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Partner with global account leads and HQ stakeholders to localize global campaigns and share learnings from APAC markets. Build strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers at publishers, studios, and agencies — understanding their goals and identifying upsell and renewal opportunities. Stay ahead of emerging trends in gaming, anime, streaming, fandoms, and youth culture, bringing fresh, relevant insights to clients and internal teams. Represent APAC client perspectives in internal discussions to ensure regional alignment in measurement, creative strategy, and ad product evolution.What you should have
3-5 years experience as an Account Manager in advertising, media, or digital marketing with quota-carrying responsibility, preferably within the gaming (Mobile or PC) industry. Fluent or native Mandarin and English proficiency (Spoken and Written) — required to manage both regional and China-outbound client communications. Deep understanding of China / South East Asia gaming landscape, digital media formats, buying tactics, and measurement tools across multiple markets Strong ability to tell stories with data through analysis and presentations, with expertise in client reporting (wrap reports, QBRs) Willingness to travel within across APAC for client meetings occasionally
