Focus of the Role
As a sales specialist, you are passionate about developing strategic selling activities and opportunities based on a strong understanding of your customer’s needs. In this role you deliver numbers and meet sales targets and objectives through the effective management of our product portfolio. You also develop and maintain effective internal and external stake holder relationships which help to deliver meaningful results for the business. Your strong communication and collaboration skills are what make you succeed in this role.

What You’ll Do
As a Sales specialist, you apply your relationship management skills with your understanding of the customer and Telstra’s products and services to deliver the following responsibilities:
Leverage effective communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills to engage with existing customers within an assigned portfolio and build new relationships with key customer targets.Take accountability for effectively managing relevant and agreed account plans and channel portfolio plans, in order to deliver sales performance in line with agreed objectives.Actively contribute to identifying, evaluating and managing new business and/or sales opportunities, supporting with the management of opportunities from qualification through to closing out proposals.Leverage deep knowledge of Telstra’s products, services and an understanding of the customer’s business operations to provide quality advice and make informed decisions.Model a continuous improvement mindset by developing your own knowledge of business and industry trends and multi-channel consumption preferences and bring the latest thinking to the role.About You
