Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead a critical Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract at the Geelong Convention and Event Centre (GCEC). Reporting directly to the State Director, you will provide strategic leadership and direction across all facets of contract delivery including operational performance, customer engagement, and commercial outcomes.
You’ll work collaboratively with client and internal teams to deliver contractual KPIs, drive operational excellence, and foster a strong, safety-first culture. This site features on-site parking, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the account team with a strong focus on safety, performance and customer excellence Ensure contractual KPI obligations, financial targets and compliance requirements are consistently met Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships with the client, suppliers and key partners Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, financial forecasting, and asset lifecycle planning Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure alignment with BGIS’ HSEQ standards and business systems Deliver strategic leadership in asset management, lifecycle planning, and sustainability initiatives Provide thought leadership to optimise FM service delivery and client satisfactionEducation, Experience & Skills
Essential:
Proven leadership experience in Facilities Management, Property or Project Services environments Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting Demonstrated client relationship and contract management expertise Knowledge of FM legislation, WHS standards, and Quality/Environmental systems Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS Formal tertiary qualification in Property, Business, Commerce or similar disciplineDesirable:
Facilities or Project Management certifications (e.g., TAFE or Property Council programs) OHS and environmental training Experience in high-profile or PPP-managed environments Background in managing integrated services or complex asset portfoliosWorkplace Flexibility
To support your growth, this position will initially be based on-site at Geelong Convention and Event Centre (GCEC). After an initial period of performance onboarding, there may be an opportunity for a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
