Job Description

Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in drive systems?
Danfoss is looking for a skilled Account Manager to join our Drives division. This role is based in our Vilnius office, where you'll collaborate with colleagues across the Climate segment locally and the Drives team primarily located in Finland. You will play a key role in expanding our presence in Lithuania and driving sales growth through strong customer partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Drives segment.

Develop and execute sales plans aligned with long-term account strategies.

Lead sales processes including solution proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.

Collaborate closely with technical, product, and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Maintain an active customer presence with regular on-site visits and factory engagements.

Translate complex technical offerings into customer value propositions.

Act as the face of Danfoss Drives in Lithuania, supporting our broader commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Sales – ideally in Drives or related industrial automation sectors.

Proven track record in customer-facing sales roles (not internal sales or commercial support roles).

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Background in engineering, electrical systems, or industrial applications is highly preferred.

Excellent communication skills in both Lithuanian and English.

Ability to work independently while staying connected with the remote Drives team in Finland

 

Team & Culture:

The new hire will be based in Vilnius, where the local office culture is shaped by the Climate team.

While the rest of the Drives team is located in Finland, close collaboration and alignment are expected.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Drives business development in Lithuania while being supported by a strong, remote team.
