Are you a driven and strategic sales professional with a passion for the foodservice industry? We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Perth, supporting the National Account Manager and playing a key role in driving growth across Western Australia and South Australia.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, supporting distributor relationships, and calling on end-user accounts to drive product activity and new product development (NPD) launches. You’ll work closely with the National Account Manager and Corporate team to identify and develop opportunities across Foodservice and QSR channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Management
Achieve volume and revenue targets across WA and SA.Manage Foodservice Distributors including Bidfood, PFD, Countrywide, NAFDA, and independents.Identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks through performance analysis.Support development of State Key Multi Site Operator accounts.Conduct end-user calls to support product drives and NPD.Business Planning
Develop and execute short- and long-term distributor business plans aligned with national strategy.Adapt plans based on market dynamics and performance insights.Reporting & Analytics
Monitor sales performance and competitive landscape.Provide timely and accurate reporting.Support the S&OP forecasting process to ensure customer satisfaction.Cost Management
Manage trade spend and travel expenses within budget.Ensure cost-effective participation in trade shows and events.What You’ll Bring
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce or a chef background (preferred).Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG, ideally within the dairy or foodservice sector.Strong negotiation, stakeholder management skills & planning capabilities.Proven ability to manage budgets and trade spend effectively.Experience with S&OP processes.Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences.A valid drivers licence and ability to travel to as requiredWe’ll support you with:
