The Role
The Account Manager position is responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining relationships with existing customers with the objective of customer retention and growth. Drive Revenue through strategic sales opportunities with an assigned book of Insurance customers. Develop targeted sales campaigns and identify market gaps and increase market share for these key Insurance customers. Support assigned accounts in the US and Canada by providing sales guidance and advice, presentation and account management, and by marshaling the best resources in both to win key deals and increase profitability, while retaining customers. Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and develop a thorough understanding of industry trends and emerging market innovations.
What You’ll Do
Qualify opportunities within existing accounts. Craft overall value propositions, drive overall sales, lead negotiations and close profitable deals for the assigned regionIdeal candidates will help lead our market growth and must possess a passion for blended solution and technical sales to adapt product presentations based on customer needsApply discipline and rigor in sales forecasting and revenue (and profit) reporting. Plan and submit annual, quarterly, and monthly fiscal plans for assigned accounts and updated bi-monthly sales forecastsCollaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technology, to help refine and promote effective product marketing and sales communication strategies and to strengthen company brand goals.Manage and prioritize product enhancement requests from customerCoordinate with legal team to finalize contracts per customer redlines/feedbackWhat You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledgeMinimum 5 years of Insurance sales and account management experience.Candidates should have a successful track record in selling Insurance P& C software solutions in both a service and software modelsYou are passionate about your work and driven by the success of the entire teamHave experience in selling to medium to top tier insurance carriersYou display and inspire a culture of excellence and accountability with your peers and your teamExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, analytical, highly organized and detail orientedTotal command of Salesforce.com and Microsoft OfficeConsistent top performing sales leader that exceeds revenue goalsIt is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
