Your role and responsibilities

Join us as an Account Manager for the Electrification Business are where you will be developing, implementing, and managing the account strategy, focused on share of wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Coordinating sales activities, monitor current projects and manage resolution of specific customer problems.This position reports to the Marketing and Sales Manager & Commercial Leader and based in Paranaque City, Philippines.- Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g. Sustainability/Digital/Cyber security) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment- Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account by providing the customer’s current business and long term plans- Defining and proposing sales targets for the account and ensuring their achievement with a structured follow up process across divisions and countries- Selling products, solutions, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets representing all ABB. -Creating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach- Monitoring competitor’s activity with the account of and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented- Driving applications of standardized Marketing and sales process

Qualifications for the role

Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering (preferably licensed electrical engineer) / commercial qualification or recognized equivalentPreferably more than 5 years of experience in Sales in a related industryDeep knowledge and understanding on the Market intelligenceComputer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential and other sales and tendering toolsAble to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level. Strategic and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiation skillsRisk review experience
