Role Description 

An exciting role working across some of the world's most renowned, culture forward, innovative and fun brands. This energetic and curious candidate will get to rub shoulder's with client media teams on the perfect group of EMEA wide clients. Your first love will have you 'Living in Levi's' as you manage one of our newest accounts - the iconic apparel brand Levi Strauss & Co. You will also be part of a wider team that also works across client giants such as JustEatTakeaway.com, Mattel Inc., and Upfield. 

You as the Account Manager, and wider account management team, manage the relationship between the client and the agency. Account Managers are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of client accounts within the agency. If you are 'all in' for the role, you will develop effective working relationships with client contacts, and all the key functions that go into creating the agency’s output. You will also be involved in solving problems, innovation, attending meetings, drafting internal and external communications, working with agency tools, reporting and documenting progress on a variety of agency projects. In addition to working with different cultures in all of our markets and learning about the media and marketing landscape across the EMEA region.

Working with;

Internal: Agency account team, including planners/strategists/data and activation teams; Creative teams; Finance/accounts; New Business External: Client media / marketing teams; Other agencies on their Client's roster e.g. Media, Public Relations etc. Account managers will report into an Account Director and may manage account executives

Key Responsibilities

Building good working relationships with client and agency contacts - our clients are the best! Managing the day-to-day administration of the client account, including timing plans, and client contact notes. Organising a variety of meetings internally and externally. The ones that have snacks are the best. Attending client briefings and gathering relevant data to support the development of media communication strategies and creative briefs in response. Working on innovation workstreams - by far the most interesting! Preparing materials for presenting and selling work. We love a good presentation deck. Supporting the development of work by documenting client feedback and attending review meetings. Monitoring project deadlines, identifying and communicating potential changes that may be required. Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions. Working across and learning about agency and client tools and platforms. Coordinating markets across EMEA. Learning and working with different cultures and learning about the differing media landscapes. Working (and lunching) with publishers and partners (think META, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitch and more...!)  Reporting and insights across the EMEA region - we just gotta do it! But you'll be surprised at how good / fast you get at it in no time! Being and contributing to a positive and progressive team culture - supporting each other is key to our success!

To summarise;

Client management:
Support our working relationships with our clients 
Receive and help manage client briefs
Provide responses and comms for clients within agreed timeframes
Project management Strategy & planning:
Support the building of integrated plans, supporting brief interpretation 
Provide detailed handovers to delivery teams and other teams within the agency
Gather consumer and competitor media insights and assess how these may impact our own media plans, sharing with the team. Supplier engagement:
Develop a strong understanding of the media landscape and build a good working knowledge and opinion of new and emerging tactics
Build strong working relationships with media owners and develop knowledge of tactical strengths and weaknesses Reporting:
Support the team with reporting governance and observations into pacing, progress, competitive and performance 

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Essential have previous media in market planning experience across ATL and digital and are curious about the agency and client’s business and sector You are personable and persuasive, and able to work effectively with a variety of different people. You are organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills to be able to effectively manage multiple projects. You are flexible, and able to solve problems - lets ‘Assume’ nothing and be able to deal positively with setbacks and ambiguity (media and innovation are constantly evolving at pace - we like to run with it!). You are an effective communicator. You are comfortable working with data. You are confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
