Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and execute         

Set up annual sales plan and achieve sales target assigned by company.Plan and prioritize personal sales activities proactively and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.Meet customer needs in market by selling IP products.

New Sales             

Finding new lead and market for achieving New sales targetAchieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets through direct sales efforts to a defined territory which targets New ClientsBuild the strong and healthy pipeline and Manage CRM database by input and regular update sales opportunity and activity for each accountRespond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methodsMaintenance of customer database and keep active and balanced sales pipeline to deliver consistent sales performance

Managing current customer             

Renewing existing client contracts with growth and up-selling new products/solutions to existing customersTo be able to respond to customer's issues/requests/inquiries in a timely mannerProactive interact with customers, prospects, Presales Engineer team, and CSM team positively and with added value. Maintain relationships with key accounts

Product and market specialist          

Develop key contacts and business relationships with members of the business unit and key support providers within the LexisNexis organizationAttend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.Valuate product performance by extracting customer’s feedback therefore giving an interface with the Global Product Development team.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent experienceIn depth understanding of contents business and the ability to quickly develop the market with online products and services including IP platform, solution market, and corporate customers in IP fieldsHighly effective communication, presentation, solution-based sales approach, and research skillsSolution, consulting service, subscription selling experiences (IP experience is plus)Understanding in CRM or pipeline management systemFully competent knowledge of the overall business includes a broad market understanding and a strong understanding of the customer's business model3 or more years of successful sales experience in contents or solution business Successful B2B sales experiences of subscription or solution-based selling or similar models with proven track recordsStrong IP knowledge and good understanding IP workflow and process is plusBasic English communication skill including written & speaking and fluent English skill is plusFull of energy and dedication to sales career, a strong team player, a quick learner and be able to work well under pressure with enthusiastic, with positive attitudeExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skillsSolid negotiation skills and the ability to network effectively both internally and externallyTime management/ Ability to multi-taskNeed strong decision making and problem-solving skillNeed Organizational awareness and alignmentSelf-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profitMay require local, overnight, oversea business travel (around 50%)
