ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:
The Account Manager will conduct sales and networking to drive Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) growth through referral source network building; developing lead-optimization strategies, plan education; and by helping develop community engagement events to proliferate increased awareness, advocacy, and strategic partnerships with referral sources. The Account Manager will directly build strategic relationships with referral partners to create engagement opportunities with prospective enrollees and their caregivers. This position will integrate with the Intake/Enrollment and the Provider Relations Teams to ensure all referrals and enrollments are processed in a timely manner that is compliant with state, federal and PACE regulatory requirements. The Account Manager is expected to maintain ethical conduct and will be responsible for quality and satisfaction of prospective participants, caregivers and referral sources.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Educate prospective community leaders, providers, participants/caregivers and other audiences on PACE program benefits, identifying differentiators from other healthcare options, and isolating key value propositions in relation to audience group and specific needs.
+ Provide program education through lectures, presentations, events, meetings, or other necessary communications with community and business stakeholders to facilitate PACE referral generation.
+ Manage assigned accounts, ensure continuous and effective communication with contacts and respond to all inquiries, requests, and referrals timely.
+ Work with the Events and Marketing teams in identifying appropriate events, community partners, or other resources and opportunities to educate the community about CenterLight PACE, and provide education/technical/administrative support for planning and execution.
+ Perform necessary administrative functions of the program to include, but not limited to, developing informational trainings, putting together handouts/packets with approved marketing materials.
+ Closely follow and track all generated referrals. Consistently measure and evaluate individual performance and effectiveness, leading to continuous improvement in outreach efforts to maximize referral opportunities and targeted goals set forth by management that are subject to change.
+ Directly assist intake and provider relations as necessary, including introductory calls, general qualification screening, documentation collection, benefit education/applications, site tours, home visits, and other follow-up to aid in the enrollment or education of a prospect or family/caregiver.
+ Regularly develop and plan a weekly and daily schedule of outreach activities in alignment with outreach strategies and targets as advised by management.
+ Maintain and generate reports to measure performance and quality of work set forth by CenterLight.
+ Document all interactions and outcomes in the designated data management/electronic record system.
+ Work with the marketing team as needed in the development of promotional messaging and marketing collateral, as well as advising the team regarding public relations and other opportunities to increase awareness of CenterLight PACE in the community.
+ Maintain knowledge of all applicable CMS, DOH, and PACE-specific guidelines, including organizational and departmental standard operation procedures and policies and procedures. Ensure to maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and PACE marketing regulations.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Weekly Hours: 40
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
+ Associate degree required. Bachelor preferred.
Experience:
+ Minimum two (2+) years work experience in healthcare business development; preferably with MLTC, MAP, or PACE programs and/or homecare.
+ Knowledge of community-based long-term care services to dual eligible and frail adult population.
+ Must have strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
+ Experience utilizing CRM or other database platforms/tools preferred. Preferred experience with Care Compass.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook required; Microsoft Excel preferred.
+ Knowledge of PACE program benefits is a plus.
+ Highly organized and flexible to meet submission deadlines.
+ Experience in working independently without significant oversight and or direction from a supervisor.
Other:
+ Must be a skilled public speaker, willing and comfortable to present in front of audiences.
+ Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements with respect to health care eligibility, coverage, and services of various public programs is a plus.
+ Familiarity with healthcare organizations and general population dynamics within the greater New York Metropolitan region is a plus.
+ Willingness to travel throughout the greater NYC metropolitan region (80% of the time).
+ Positive attitude and outlook with the ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment.
+ Works inside at office locations and outside in varied weather conditions in all areas of the community, using private or public means of transportation.
+ Nights and weekends may apply.
+ Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time and ascend/descend stairs.
Physical Requirements
Individuals must be able to sustain certain physical requirements essential to the job. This includes, but is not limited to:
+ Standing - Duration of up to 8 hours per day in the field/community.
+ Sitting/Stationary Positions – Sedentary position for a duration of up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods.
+ Lifting/Push/Pull – Up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and other items used in the scope of the job using OSHA guidelines, etc.
+ Bending/Squatting – Must be able to safely bend or squat to perform the essential functions under the scope of the job.
+ Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing – Must be able to safely maneuver stairs, climb up/down, and walk to access work areas. The position requires the individual to be able to travel and walk between sites/locations and work areas throughout the day.
+ Agility/Fine Motor Skills - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools to complete essential job functions (ie. typing, use of supplies, equipment, etc.)
+ Sight/Visual Requirements – Must be able to visually read documentation, papers, orders, signs, etc., and type/write documentation, etc. with accuracy.
+ Audio Hearing and Motor Skills (Language) Requirements – Must be able to listen attentively and document information from patients, community members, co-workers, clients, providers, etc., and intake information through audio processing with accuracy. In addition, must be able to speak comfortably and clearly with language motor skills for customers to understand the individual.
+ Cognitive Ability – Must be able to demonstrate good decision-making, reasonableness, cognitive ability, rational processing, and analysis to satisfy essential functions of the job.

Salary Range (Min-Max):$75,000.00 - $90,000.00
