Recurly is a leading subscription and revenue recognition management platform at the forefront of the booming “subscription economy”. We’re currently looking for an experienced Account Executive to continue our growth in the EMEA region. The Account Executive needs to  be a hunter who can identify and build relationships with prospects, take a consultative approach to selling and manage deals end-to-end.What We Are OfferingAbility to earn, learn, grow and be a part of an industry changing ideas, great customer experiences and a collaborative culture. Attractive salary and award of Profit Interest Units (PIU)Comprehensive Benefits Package including Pension, Life Insurance, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Phone allowance, Cycle to Work SchemeHybrid working environment (Office and Home)Convenient work location and modern office spaceFree lunch provided in the office three times per week25 days paid holiday in each calendar year in addition to usual public holidaysGenerous parental leaveLearning and Development, Education Assistance programResponsibilitiesDriving new sales & expansion into the Recurly install baseUnderstanding how to expand into new lines of business by bringing the Recurly suite of solutions including Revenue Recognition, Lifecycle Management Engagement, App Management and future Recurly offeringsManaging renewals by reselling the value of Recurly to our existing customersLead pricing strategy and negotiations while working closely with Revenue Operations, Finance and Legal to ensure all contracts meet customer and Recurly requirementsProactively notify Finance of past due accounts, contractual clauses that impact revenue recognition and provide proactive management of customer usage to drive expansionAchieving and exceeding compensation plan goals by managing all aspects of the contract renewal and upsell process for an assigned set of merchantsIdentifying  at risk merchants early in the renewal process and reselling the value of Recurly to prevent churnPartner and collaborate with internal cross-functional counterparts such as Customer Success, Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Technical Support, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to drive successful outcomes for Recurly and our customersHandling customer needs and requests outside of the responsibility of support for merchants not managed by Recurly Customer SuccessCreating and managing renewal, upsell and Professional Services opportunities in SFDC  with accurate and timely updatesProvide renewal notification and accurate quotes 90 days in advance prior to contract end dateRequirementsNatural curiosity and the desire to win together with our customersMinimum of 7 years of SaaS experience in renewals, sales, account management, customer success or equivalent customer facing roleAbility to thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment with a positive outlook and professionalismTeam player who enjoys jumping in where needed with high energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity to learnSomeone who will own the outcome by being mindful about finding the balance between the customer centric approach and achieving your renewal and sales goalsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsExperience with SFDC or similar CRM system preferredDesire to never stop learning or growingBA/BS degree or relevant experienceBonus PointsAdditional languages e.g. German, Dutch, Hebrew, Swedish.Subscription industry knowledge and deep vertical expertise
