Your role and responsibilities

SUMMARY:Develops, implements, and manages the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Coordinates sales activities, monitors current projects, and manages the resolution of specific customer problems.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business for System Drives division in Mumbai -India.You will be mainly responsible for:•\tLeads the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work (SoW) growth actions.•\tUnderstands the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment and interprets the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.•\tParticipates in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans of the customer.•\tDefines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.•\tSells products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing ABB, overall.•\tCreates added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution).•\tMonitors competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.•\tGives input on market price developments.•\tDrives application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, , etc.) for the account.

Qualifications for the role

\tEducation: BE/Btech - Electrical or similar discipline \t12+ yrs of experienced in handling Large accounts , to be able to get in touch with top management\tExpertise demands in Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, Market Intelligence, Go-to-market Strategy, Customer Experience Success, Regulation & Legal Compliance, Pricing excellence\tWell versed with Budget & Performance Targets, Account Management, Business Development & Adoption, Sales Enablement, General Sales Practices, Solution/Application Sales Engineering, Channel Sales & Contract & Risk Management
