Position Overview

The CLS Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships by monitoring daily operations activities and contract specifications to exceed client expectations. This role involves developing referral networks, building relationships, conducting site walk-throughs, creating proposals, and pursuing the collection of accounts receivable.

Job Duties

•Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
•Authority to interview, hire, and terminate employees, and recommendations for the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or change of status of other employees are given particular weight.
•Customarily oversee, plan, assign, and direct work of two or more employees.
•Appraise performance.
•Reward and discipline employees.
•Address complaints and resolve problems.
•Respond appropriately in emergency situations..

Qualifications

●Develop and implement strategies required to achieve new contracts, contract enhancements, and renewal sales goals as determined with input by supervisor. *
●Manage and monitor assigned book of business and daily operations to ensure client expectations and contract specifications are met. *
●Ensure client satisfaction by understanding and exceeding their expectations through superior service. *
●Develop a network of referral business through relationships with subcontractors, vendors, allied trades, and other associates. *
●Introduce and support a strong relationship with the client and the site crew leader, working together to pursue client satisfaction. *
●Conduct walk-throughs to review properties with crew leader and supervisor and suggest methods to improve quality and efficiency. *

●Monitor actual performance versus budget on a job-by-job basis, developing strategies to address deviations, and review them with the management team. *
●Proactively identify and submit for consideration any problem-solving and site enhancement opportunities, serving as a consultant and resource for clients. *
●Attend meetings, provide written or other reports, and communicate as necessary with clients and supervisor. *
●Perform accurate take-offs and estimates for proposal generation, with assistance if necessary.*
●Develop and maintain detailed files on all aspects of existing or prospective business opportunities. *
●Comply with documentation procedures to ensure proper data. *
●Actively pursue collection of receivables. *
●Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of employees. *
●Encourage and promote innovation, professionalism, and teamwork at all times. *
●Manage subcontractors and vendors as required. *
●Assign crews and equipment for maximum productivity. *
●Monitor equipment maintenance schedules. *
●Assist crew leader and crew members as necessary. *
●Participate in relevant professional associations within assigned geographic area. *
●Pursue professional development in the horticultural industry and remain current on events and trends of our clients (existing or potential) and our competition. *
●Perform other related duties as assigned.
●Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
