The Account Manager is responsible for managing potential key accounts and authorized partners within the designated region for Axis. This role involves actively approaching, establishing, and developing relationships with these accounts to foster growth and development. High-potential key accounts will be transferred to and managed by Key Account Manager.
The Account Manager will collaborate closely with the Distribution Account Manager to recruit potential partners and enhance sales opportunities with distributors. Additionally, the Account Manager will handle incoming sales calls, manage the lead queue within Salesforce, and qualify authorized partners. They will also work with distributors to identify potential business opportunities from marketing event leads.
Furthermore, this position includes managing individual small-sized projects, conducting training sessions, and organizing events. The Account Manager will act as the Salesforce representative and provide training to the team.
What you’ll do here as Account Manager?
Support the Distribution Account Manager in actively driving and supporting distributor sales to 2nd tier partners, achieving sales targets set for named partners;
Collaborate with the Distribution Account Manager to drive and support the distributor’s sales team in identifying and developing a pool of potential key accounts and authorized partners for Axis. Continue promoting and transferring high-potential key accounts to the Axis Key Account Manager;
Handle incoming sales calls, manage the lead queue within Salesforce, and qualify authorized partners;
Engage in small projects by actively approaching selected authorized partners, identifying their needs, and providing timely sales support;
Serve as the business owner of marketing events, including partner forums, business seminars, and academy fundamentals, to support channel development activities and partner training;
Regularly participate in marketing events to connect with customers, deliver Axis value to partners, and recruit new partners;
Act as the Salesforce champion, informing and training the team about changes and updates in Salesforce.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in channel recruitment and development
Basic technical knowledge with a strong willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams
Proficient in multi-task management and problem-solving
