As Account Manager, you will manage and grow an existing portfolio of small to mid-size accounts. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with account leadership, identify new opportunities, and expand services to maximize profitability and efficiency in the supply chain. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retain and grow a portfolio of medium-sized accountsImplement new business opportunities, manage account setup, and ensure complianceBuild and maintain relationships at multiple levels within client organizationsIdentify opportunities to expand service offerings and further penetrate accountsDesign customized solutions through in-person interactions with clientsPresent pricing options and recommendations to account leadershipManage customer expectations through the use of standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and other metricsDrive the development and execution of account plans and budgets, providing regular updates to the teamAnalyze and prepare data for business reviews and participate actively in quarterly business reviewsConduct business reviews, analyze trends, and recommend strategies to drive growth and enhance customer satisfactionQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
3 years of experience in global forwarding, ideally in international logistics, including sea freight forwarding2+ years of commercial/sales experience within the logistics industryFluent in English and SpanishPreferred:
Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to negotiate at all levelsAbility to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectivelyExcellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skillsProven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsTeam player with the capability to deliver independent resultsSkilled in persuasion, motivation, and influencing othersSelf-driven, results-oriented, with a focus on quality and profitabilityStrong focus on growth, sales, relationship building, negotiation, and financial acumen, with a long-term approach to customer relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office programsWHAT WE OFFER
