ACCOUNT MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Account Manager will be tasked with maintaining customer records, ensuring client satisfaction, and promoting new business. You are responsible for account payment management, issue resolution, and assistance in service or product selection. The role also involves building and managing new partnerships and adhering to Key Performance Indicators and Standard Operating Procedures. Key skills include excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and experience in travel-related fields.
SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Accounting Manager oversees accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP. This role manages month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. Additionally, the Accounting Manager helps to maintain internal controls, drive process improvements, and handles special projects as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Direct accounting processes and functions, including the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions
· Responsible for managing the financial aspects of manufacturing, including cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and analysis of production costs to ensure accurate financial information and support informed decision making
· Oversees the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and review financial results, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries for compliance with US GAAP
· Ensures accuracy between NetSuite and the main system of record (Sage X3)
· Prepare reports for business activity and other reports as requested by management
· Responsible for the maintenance of effective internal controls
· Develop and implement process improvements/make recommendations
· Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
· May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
· 18 years of age or older
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· Active CPA a plus
· Manufacturing experience required
· NetSuite experience a plus
· A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with the capability of applying in a practical manner
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Current on best practices, compliance, and ethical business practices
· Able to act independently, exercising independent decision-making and fulfilling responsibilities with minimal supervision
· Excellent teamwork skills, ability to deal with others in a professional manner
· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
· Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
· Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
· Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
· Pass a background check and drug screen
· Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
