**Overview**
**About the role and the team**
The Affiliate team specialises in direct response and performance media in all its myriad forms, covering traditional affiliate program management, lead generation and mobile-app download campaigns.
You’ll be part of a team of channel specialists and fully integrated cross-channel team covering channels such as Search/SEO/Social and Programmatic based on your specific client account scope.
The team is entering into a period of expansive growth with new business being won frequently and this role will be fully focus on a recently onboarded client operating in the finance sector with ambitions growth targets for the channel to achieve.
**Additional - In 6 months you can expect to learn**
- Managing affiliate clients and teams within a large and global media agency environment becoming a true channel expert
- Collaborate with cross-channel teams to drive holistic media strategies across some of the most reputable brands in the world
- Understanding of tracking setups and methodologies to measure and attribute performance media results
- Build test and learn framework to optimise accounts, and drive tactical and strategic channel solutions
**Responsibilities**
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Strategic management of the Clients business and responsibility for all aspects of tactical implementation;
- Aid in the swift and efficient delivery of new affiliate on boarding objectives;
- Managing budgets in line with other online media channels to ensure the client is spending properly;
- Reporting on performance to the client on a regular basis with insights into the programme and highlighting any additional opportunities for growth;
- Results analysis of past campaign data to influence future campaigns or opportunities;
- Maintaining close relationships with top Publishers, as well as liaising and negotiating priority levels of exposure with best performing publishers to maximise delivery and maintain client costs;
- Budget and sales reconciliation support for the affiliate team's client base;
- Compiling and presenting results to your clients.
- Managing more junior members of the team, supporting them in their development and growth and assist them with their client responsibilities
**Qualifications**
**Skills**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who is passionate about online and performance led marketing. Ideally, they will have had experience working with top tier clients in an Affiliate capacity, either at a network, agency or manages the channel in-house at a brand. Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong analytical and inquisitive mind to digest and convey campaign results to clients in a clear manner
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage publishers, media vendors and third-party suppliers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail whilst adhering to regular deadlines
- Superb verbal and written communication skills to effectively work cross-functionally and have the ability to speak and influence different teams internally and externally
- Good presentation skills and comfortable managing client stakeholders at various degrees of seniority
- Passion for affiliate marketing and experience managing programs on behalf of top brands in the UK market, ideally within the finance or banking sector
**Reporting Lines**
The position of Affiliate Manager will report to one of the team’s Account Directors.
