Summary – basic function of the role We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to spearhead growth and drive results in the North Africa region, with a focus on Algeria. This role is pivotal in expanding Hydratight’s presence by building and nurturing relationships, turning potential opportunities into contracts, and delivering exceptional value to our clients. Job Duties and Responsibilities Customer Development: Actively visit key end-user accounts and potential prospects to generate new customer requirements. Build strong relationships within existing accounts to drive additional sales growth and profitability. Sales Leadership: Guide and support other Account Managers in identifying and pursuing new customers. Lead complex proposals, participate in negotiations, and finalize orders. Technical Expertise & Collaboration: Collaborate with Application Engineers and customers to resolve technical questions about specialized products. Provide professional and technical quotations while maximizing margins. Promotion & Engagement: Organize technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase our products and services. Lead marketing initiatives, including Voice of Customer (VOC) activities, exhibitions, and market mapping. Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate reports on opportunities, quotation statuses, and expected orders, ensuring a clear and actionable forecast. Travel: Travel across North Africa (approximately 75% of the time) to visit customer locations and strengthen regional relationships. Skills and Competencies Fluency in English and French (oral and written) is essential. Ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure. Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to utilize digital tools to optimize performance. Education and Experience Experience & Expertise: Strong background in sales within the oil and gas industry. Proven track record in North African markets, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
