Account Manager Scientific Research
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager to join our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in selling and supporting all CMD products. Your main focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers, who are at the forefront of research and development in various fields.
The Thermo Fisher Scientific CMD portfolio covers a broad range of analytical instruments, consumables and services.

Maintain effective and long-lasting customer relationshipsIdentify and prioritize new client opportunitiesDevelop strategies to drive account expansion and renewalsProvide sales expertise, guidance, and assistanceCollaborate with internal resources to determine the best technology solutionsNegotiate contracts and close ordersConduct product evaluations to demonstrate valueDrive organic growth and increase market shareLead sales strategies to meet and exceed objectivesMaintain awareness of competitor and industry activityOur Team

What We're Looking For
Preferably, proven sales experience in the analytical instrument marketDutch and English speaking is essentialMust have valid driving license (car not essential)Bachelor's degree in the sciences or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated ability to understand business dynamics and a strong motivation to acquire new customersExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslySharp attention to detail and ability to meet project timelinesStrong interpersonal and written communication skills (Dutch and English)Ability to explain and sell technical aspects of our product portfolioWillingness to travel to customer locations (up to 80%, may include overnight travel)Demonstration of Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
