Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) is looking for a passionate and self-driven Account Manager to be responsible for sales in the Data Center market. This person should be determined to strengthen relationships, increase the share of wallet, secure new opportunities to achieve sales growth targets and provide exceptional service as part of our Data Center Sales team. They should be able to articulate and communication their plan with the objective of creating engagement to help lead our growth.
The Account Manager owns the sales growth and relationship of assigned accounts. They plan, coordinate and executes all sales efforts to achieve targeted growth while maintaining a professional connection with the customer. Works closely with our Danfoss customer service, engineering and product teams to provide appropriate level of support.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Develop and execute targeted sales growth in alignment with overall Data Center strategy with focus on identifying and closing net new wins. Develops and maintains broad relationships at customer to cover key decision makers and critical departments that will support specification and purchase of our products. Establish and execute to a value selling approach that support DPS goals of growth, revenue and strategic position in market. Identify customer applications, products, programs, etc. that present an opportunity for Danfoss product sales. Understand and communicate details of opportunity internally to align support and prioritization. Coordinate local wins in support of global projects, ensuring all tiers tied to programs are understood and supported. Conduct periodic business reviews with customers and Danfoss leadership to recognize success, quantify opportunity, identify gaps and lead actions to improve. Prepare and submit sales call reports, account summaries, action/operating plan updates, expense reports and other sales-oriented documents on a routine basis. Coordinates commercial and technical presentations on current and new Danfoss products and their applications for customer equipment. Maintains good record keeping of CRM reports in an organized and accurate manner for internal performance analysis. Represent Voice of Customer within our organization by communicating on topics such as price, product changes, forecasts, new product needs, performance metrics and other relevant topics to ensure Danfoss understands customer expectations. In order to be successful, we expect you to possess a bachelor’s/master’s degree (engineering discipline preferred) Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the data center market Experience working in a global matrixed or otherwise complex environment Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
