Account Manager (F/H)
Job Description

At Danfoss Power Solutions we are currently looking for an Account Manager Fluid conveyance (m/f/d) for the distribution area. This is a home office position with travel to various parts of France and Belgium.

In this role you will take responsibility for our distribution area in France and Belgium region and support our dealers in increasing sales and developing future plans. You will make a significant contribution to team building and work closely with sales colleagues and internal business.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Building sales partnerships and networks in your region

• Developing profitable opportunities and sales based on the Value Selling technique

• Ensuring optimal profitability for Danfoss by offering targeted pricing to partners and applying annual price updates and markups

• Organizing internal and external meetings, events and trainings as needed

• Supporting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as system application engineers, business units, sales and order management

• Working with global product management, supply chain and R&D departments to ensure timely and accurate information exchange with partners

• Monitoring competitors, identifying and reporting on market and technology trends

To be successful in this role, you will have a good technical understanding of Fluid conveyance and hydraulics, as well as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering and preferably 3 years of relevant professional experience in sales.

In addition, the following is important to us:

• Experience in sales and a good understanding of the sales business

• Experience in Fluid conveyance or Hydraulics 

• Experience working in a network of independent sales partners is an advantage

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team and make a valuable contribution to the team

• A proactive attitude and an efficient and independent way of working

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently on business in the countries and region described above

• Fluent language skills (spoken and written) in French and English
