Account Manager (Sales) - Hospice Mission Healthcare

Mission Healthcare Services, LLC (known as Mission Healthcare), located in seven states, is the largest home health and hospice company in the western United States. We have a special purpose—to take care of people. We provide a comprehensive array of services that meet the needs of patients and families across the healthcare continuum. Mission has plans to continue to expand our footprint. Our Account Managers are critical to the success of Mission's growth; thus, we are seeking determined, highly motivated and driven sales professionals to join our growing team!
We offer a competitive compensation package of $70k - $100k+, which includes an annual base salary and uncapped commission plan. The sky is the limit on your earning potential!

The Account Manager is responsible for service account growth by initiating and maintaining ongoing professional contacts and relationships with hospitals, physicians, area health facilities, community organizations, state and county medical societies, and similar groups and institutions. The Account Manager will conduct meaningful, quality sales calls, meet established admission goals, and negotiate service contracts with managed care organizations and key referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Directs all daily marketing operations within their assigned territory to include daily sales calls, preplanned meetings, and ongoing education with referral decision makers (physicians, discharge planners, social workers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals). - Facilitates education on agency services and regulatory guidelines.- Participates in community education events, including speaking to healthcare professionals, civic groups, etc. to provide information on services offered by Mission Healthcare.- Coordinates with referral partners and various healthcare facilities for necessary documentation, in a timely manner. - Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with direct supervisor and appropriate agency personnel. - Develops and implements marketing plans, assists in establishing agency volume projections, implements marketing plans and monitors the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.- Collaborate and partner with operations and support center team members.- Provides leadership in strategic planning, maintains comprehensive knowledge of Mission Healthcare’s markets, including key referral sources and competitor’s market positioning.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare business development / sales, preferably in hospice.- Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.- Ability to assertively market and deal tactfully with referral sources.- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.- Valid driver’s license.$70,000 - $100,000 a yearAt Mission Healthcare, we believe in fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and every employee feels respected, accepted, and empowered.
