Why Join Us | DuPont Careers (https://careers.dupont.com/us/en/whyjoinus) **Role Description: Key Account Manager (KAM) – Dairy and Other Markets** The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Dairy and Other Markets will be responsible for key account management and business development within the dairy market for DuPont Water Solutions. This role will focus on selling and promoting DuPont's reverse osmosis technology primarily to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) while also engaging with end users in the dairy processing sector. Additionally, there will be opportunities for the account manager to work in other assigned markets, which will be determined based on the skill set of the selected candidate. **Key Responsibilities:** + Deliver yearly revenue and profit targets for assigned customers. + Develop and lead the execution of strategic account plans for key dairy customers, including setting quarterly and yearly sales targets. + Identify and engage potential new business opportunities in the dairy market, driving growth and expanding DuPont's market presence. + Facilitate relationships across the customer’s organization, including purchasing, manufacturing, and R&D, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs specifically related to dairy applications. + Negotiate contracts, price changes, and sales deals focused on reverse osmosis technology for OEMs. + Engage with end users to spur pull-through growth through the OEM sales channel and target ion exchange product sales directly to end users to drive sales growth and innovation. + Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including customer service, technical service, marketing, and R&D, to accomplish objectives focused on the dairy market. + Maintain all key account information in SalesForce, concentrating on dairy solutions, customer insights, and business development initiatives. **Key Competencies:** + **Sales Skills:** Demonstrated competency in strategic account management and business development within the dairy market. + **Customer Relationships:** Ability to develop strong relationships and understand the unique needs of customers in the dairy sector. + **Business Acumen:** Quickly understand the dairy business model, competitive positioning, and financial goals relevant to the industry. + **Communication & Collaboration:** Effective communication with stakeholders in the dairy sector. + **Analysis & Judgment:** Strong skills in recognizing issues or opportunities specific to the dairy market and translating them into actionable insights. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant fields such as dairy science, food science, chemistry, or business. + 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the dairy or related industries, or experience selling reverse osmosis or ion exchange products. + Skills in negotiation, key account management, and business development. + Willingness to travel up to 50%. **Preferences:** + Experience with reverse osmosis and ion exchange technology. + Previous experience in the dairy markets. + Experience working directly with OEMs and end users. + Experience utilizing Salesforce.
