MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans which may require support across McCormick business groups and may include international business units   Establish in-depth working relationships and manage activities at all levels within Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Technical, and Operations Prioritize projects within account and independently manage project activity across all product lines Independently implement and develop measures for success against business plan and report progress to customer and McCormick management Actively sell the value of the USIG Brand Pyramid and facilitate business to business relationships across functions With Sales management involvement, develops customer pricing strategy to maximize business and profits Serve as a critical contact for McCormick and drive customer penetration through innovation and proactive customer intimacy

 

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

BA in Business/Technical/Supply Chain or related discipline Acceptable driving record including valid driver's license required 3-5years general business experience required. Working knowledge of technical aspects of products, i.e. nomenclature, applicability within customer's manufacturing process, substitution choices, new discoveries, etc. Developed and demonstratable critical thinking skills and business acumen Highly developed written and verbal communications skills that are clear, concise, and appropriate in timing and directed to appropriate levels. Unwavering ethics and integrity, driven by unrelenting need to understand, curiosity, driven to make it happen today, unwillingness to wait, impatient Ability to develop appropriate, business relationships internally and externally and leverage into business, equally comfortable relating to contacts at the lab bench level and the board room level, works independently and is self motivated Ability to think strategically and act tactically, comfortable with a collaborative, team oriented, somewhat nurturing company environment. Must also have well developed negotiation, communication, presentation, project management, relationship development, and organizational skills. Has working relationships with Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, Supply chain, and Technical functions. Viewed as the primary McCormick contact for all product lines. Be viewed as a critical contact for McCormick and drive customer penetration through innovation and proactive customer intimacy. Develop appropriate, business relationships internally and externally and leverage into business and relate to contacts at the lab bench level and the board room level. Position interactions are approximately 60% internal and 40% external.
