How will you make an impact?

Join Thermo Fisher's Analytical Instruments Group's Service and Support segment to help expand our service contract offerings' reach and drive revenue growth in our divisions.

Meet or exceed sales targets for service contracts and support plans. Proactively identify new revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.

What will you do?

Make daily phone calls and communicate via email across all organizational levels and functional areas within purchasing decision accounts.
Develop the service business in Brazil and support the Service/Sales team. Responsible for selling warranty extensions, service contracts, extending existing service contracts, and developing the full portfolio of core services.
Ensure efficient marketing communications and build strong customer relationships, supporting the development of key relationships with major customers and decision-makers.
Complete and supervise all service contract pricing flows and warranty extensions for Brazil.
Implement local sales plans (short, medium, and long-term) aligned with Thermo Fisher’s strategy to maintain and develop existing customers/acquire new ones.
Clearly communicate efforts within other organizational levels. Drive service contracts through collaboration with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Service Teams, covering all activities supplying to service customer acquisition, happiness, and retention, and efficient and effective use of service processes.
Prepare letters and commercial proposals, pricing of Extended Warranties, cost assessment as per technical requests for the contract, and record contracts in the JDE system.
Prepare financial profitability reports, billing, and payment distribution planning, and present them monthly to managers and technical coordinators in Brazil.
Collaborate with service and cross-functional teams as needed to resolve customer issues and work with the internal sales team.
Monitor critical metrics for contract performance:
Contract efficiency: contract cycle time and contract value assessments;
Contract efficiency: number of contracts by type; annualized contract value; historical contract trends;
Contract risk: standard clause variation; contracts expiring without renewal dates; number of delayed approvals and resolved disputes.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent skills in English, and Spanish are a plus.
Excellent administrative skills, interpersonal proficiency, and the ability to plan and lead time efficiently for multiple tasks.
Proficiency in 'Microsoft Office' – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Knowledge of JDE and Power BI can be an advantage.
