Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead and handle business for Fisher Scientific Malaysia in the region assigned according to company’s strategies and plans. Perform sales and marketing activities for product marketed by the department, including but not limited to laboratory equipments, consumables and apparatus. Continuously and independently look for opportunity to grow the committed revenue and overall gross margin for current account assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Owning your personal target to achieve Revenue and Margin dedication.Crafting a work environment that encourages teamwork and cooperation, enabling sales department personnel to thrive; derive fulfillment from their contributions; and, remain consistently encouraged and challenged to improve their performance.To engage in and carry out sales & marketing activities with a focus on attaining sales targets designated within assigned territories for assigned products and/or services.To achieve the required number of customer visits each month by connecting with at least 1 new customer biweekly for potential business discussions.To ensure response to all customers within 2 working days.To meet the sales manager or segment leader weekly to discuss the sales report and call plan.To provide department manager with monthly update on market updates, competitor’s activities, business opportunities and other relevant market information.To take lead for overall business opportunity in assigned territories within Malaysia.To handle yearly products' quota allocated.To handle dealers allocated for incremental revenue.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

To handle customer’s experience in a manner where they are consistence throughout the organization and continuously improving.To collaborate closely with the Tech service team on any customers requirements for technical support or warranty support. To clearly advise, update, communicate and coordinate with Service Engineers to ensure efficient product installation and services. Provide assistance to application matters such as commissioning of equipment sold/marketed.To communicate the issues faced externally or internally and provide suggestion / solution for improvementTo feedback key win and lose and discuss with manager on strategies to win the following sales. 5. To involve in training activities (local or overseas) provided or the company’s vendors & all initiatives and activities of marketing, seminars and roadshows organized.To follow through on product delivery and installation process and ensure customers expectations are met.To assist the company on collection of outstanding invoices.To assist to train new product specialist when needed.To ensure compliance to related GDPMD procedures applicable to the department at all times To abide to all company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management and sales preferably in the scientific, life sciences or healthcare industry managing channel partners.Proven track record of managing and growing channel partner businesses.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
