Account Manager II (Hybrid)
Location: Lake Forest, IllinoisJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $39 - 44 per hourCella is looking for a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our client's team for a hybrid contract opportunity in Lake Forest, IL! As an Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison between the Ad Agency and brand teams, responsible for managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will provide strategic direction, creative input, and expert counsel, collaborating closely with the agency's creative staff, external partners, and the brand teams to drive successful outcomes.Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact between the agency and brand teams, managing relationships to achieve business objectives and sales goals. Provide strategic input and direction for promotional tactics, ensuring alignment with the brand's marketing goals. Collaborate in the development of creative briefs and oversee the creative process from concept to completion. Ensure timely and accurate communication of key project developments to all stakeholders. Maintain and enforce corporate branding guidelines, including PromoMats review and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Track project timelines, budgets, and financials, including developing annual forecasts and conducting monthly financial reconciliations. Issue client contact reports and facilitate ongoing communication to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Lead conflict resolution to ensure effective outcomes and maintain productivity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent project experience is a plus. Minimum of 4-6 years of account management experience, with pharmaceutical industry experience (U.S. and Global) preferred. In-house or agency ad experience highly desirable. Strong understanding of account product attributes, marketing objectives, target audience, and regulatory/legal guidelines. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. High energy, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility role. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thorough understanding of agency workflow, from project initiation to completion. Proficiency in creative thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and deliverables. Expertise in corporate branding, promotional material development, and compliance guidelines.
